Hello, I am Drew Hayes and welcome to my software dev blog. I've been writing code since high school. Most of my career has been spent writing code in the Microsoft stack so expect anything found here to be written in C#. Lately I've been working with the latest version of .NET, Azure, Azure Container Apps, and Dapr. I'm interested in writing quality software using OOP patterns and practices, clean architecture, DDD, unit tests, and all of that other good stuff without being too dogmatic.

Besides building software, I have a wonderful little family and we love to spend time in the woods camping, hiking, and rock climbing.
